This living history museum replicates life in the original Plymouth Colony settlement. Visitors see and feel what colonial life was like in the 17th century from the perspective of the Pilgrims and the native Wampanoag people.

Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the English Village with costumed role players portraying actual residents of the original colony; observe the daily life of the Wampanoag people at the Wampanoag Homesite; explore the Mayflower II (this full-scale reproduction is currently being restored, so check the website for information); see Plimoth Grist Mill, a working water-powered mill; visit Nye Barn Rare Breed Animals to learn about breeds that were found in Plymouth Colony; enjoy the Craft Center artisans creating items using tools, materials, and techniques of the 1600s.

You’ll also find the finest first run, foreign, and independent films at the Plimoth Cinema, shopping and dining in the Museum, and special events such as Family Fun Day. Visit the website for details.
