Roger William Park Events
The 435 acres that comprise the park include the Roger Williams Park Zoo, home to more than 160 rare species from around the world such as elephants, giraffes, snow leopards, red pandas, and a Komodo dragon. Take part in up-close animal encounters, the Soaring Eagle Zip Ride, the Woodlands Express train, camel rides, giraffe feedings, hands-on armadillo encounters, and much more. The Faces of the Rainforest exhibit features primates, tropical birds, giant otters, and others.
The park also offers boating, Little Free Libraries, picnic areas, playgrounds, SPOT tennis, the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium, and Carousel Village featuring Hasbro’s Boundless Playground, rides on the historic carousel, pony rides, the Bounce House, Carousel Express train rides, and the fifth season of Food Truck Friday with 15 locally-owned food trucks offering an assortment of tasty treats including local beer from Trinity Brewhouse and wine from Gooseneck Vineyards, all while you listen to live music.
